1421 · Dwarves Army Book..................$15.00
Dwarven legends speak of mighty mountain ranges in the iron grip of the Dwarves, honeycombed with the mining shafts and living quarters of the clans. They tell of the wonders of Dwarven architecture, such as Thordrill's Hall in lost Temuria and the mighty weapons and machines of the Smiths' and Thunderers' Guilds.
This DEMONWORLD army book describes the Dwarven realms of Gaeta and Z'ahra, their armies and their allies, the Hill and Rock Giants.
The 54 new recruitment cards describe Dwarven units such as the Bombardiers or the Orc Slayers, mighty machines such as Battle-Riders, Bullet-Hailers or Dwarven flying machines, such heroes as Barin Boarrider or Quorn the Brazen, and magical artefacts such as the Thunderfist or the axe Giant's Death. In addition you will also find an overview map, colour illustrations for painting your miniatures, and a spell list with 15 spells for Dwarven priests.
4401
Heavy Clan Veterans.......$23.50
The clan veterans form the elite troops of a Dwarf clan.
The heavy units are equipped with full platemail and carry a double-handed
weapon.
4402
Heavy Clan Warriors........$23.50
The clan warriors are the main force of the troops of a
Dwarf clan. These heavy units are fully armored and equipped with a shield and
an axe.
4403
Clan Veterans.........$23.50
The clan veterans form the elite troops of a Dwarf clan.
They are armored similarly to the clan warriors, however they dispense with a
shield in favor of a double-handed weapon.
*4404
Clan Warriors..........$23.50
Clan warriors form the bulk of the troops of a Dwarf
clan. They are equipped with a variety of hand weapons, the majority of which,
like their Armour, are usually old family heirlooms.
4405
Dwarves with Crossbows........$23.50
Because of their poor Armour and the improvised weapons
carried, this unit should preferably be kept out of melee; which, however, is
not their main task on the battlefield anyway.
4406
Arquebusiers.........$23.50
This unit is particularly unusual as it does not consist
of members of different guilds but is exclusively made up from members of the
Thunderers' Guild. A contingent of the Arquebusiers are in the employ of the
Emperor as a result of the alliance agreement struck with the Empire.
4407
Skirmishers.........$23.50
Skirmishers are equipped with shields and light leather Armour that does not restrict them in their movement. The unit is equipped with
hand weapons; and every Dwarf carries several heavy throwing-axes in addition to
these.
4408
Miners.........$23.50
In some respects, this unit is the counterpart to the
militia of other armies. In times of need, miners are speedily gathered to
defend their native country. They are clad in their heavy leather working
clothes and carry their picks as weapons.
4409
The Portal Guard.........$19.50
The units of the portal guard consist exclusively of
experienced veterans to whom the guarding of the main gates of the Dwarf cities
and fortresses was entrusted. They are equipped with especially heavy platemail
and halberds in order to cope with their heavy task.
4410
Bombardiers.........$19.50
An invention of the Thunderers' Guild made it possible to
raise this new unit. The members of this unit carry so-called "bombs",
which are thin-walled metal balls with a fuse, that are filled with black powder
and metal pieces, which they throw into the ranks of their opponents.
4411
Hill Giants.........$16.50
Hill Giants are the smaller "relatives" of the
Rock Giants and they wear chainmail Armour that is provided to them by the
Dwarves of Gaeta. As weapons they use double-handed battle-axes or hammers.
4412
Rock Giant.........$9.50
Rock Giants don't appear in units, but are recruited
individually by the Dwarf clans. In melee they mostly use torn out trees as
clubs, however they also often throw chunks of stone which they find on the
battlefield.
4413
Durim's Hammer.........$8.00
Durim's Hammer is an artillery piece that shoots
indirectly. It remarkably resembles the Imperial mortar "Khybor's
Horror". The developers of the Thunderers' Guild maintain that the Imperial
artillery piece is a reproduction of a low quality version of Durim's Hammer
which was solely built for export.
4414
Dragon Thunder.........$8.00
The Dragon Thunder is an especially large mortar that was
developed from the smaller mortar "Durim's Hammer". Although it can
not shoot incendiary projectiles, it can however shoot large stone projectiles
with considerable effect.
4415
Artillery Observers.........$6.50
Since the Dwarves of Gaeta only own indirectly shooting
artillery pieces, they have developed a unit, whose task it is to determine the
position of hostile targets and convey this to their batteries by using flag
signals.
4416
Pony Riders.........$32.50
This unit has come into being at the proposal of the
Merchants' Guild, because normally the Dwarves don't trust the ponies and would
rather go by foot than ride. Since the merchants however have long distances to
cover on their routes they are forced to use the ponies as their mounts.
4417
Orc Slayers.........$19.50
These wild looking Dwarves are members of the Orcslayer
Clan that have, on account of their fanatical hatred of Orcs and Goblins,
prescribed for themselves the duty of erasing the Orcs and Goblins from the face
of the Earth. Orc Slayers go into battle unarmoured and are equipped with
double-handed weapons.
4418
Battle Rider with Hammers.........$19.50
These metal monsters, approximately seven meters in
height, currently represent the climax of arms technology according to the
opinion of its builders, the Blacksmiths' Guild. Battle Riders are equipped
either with two oversized hammers or with two huge axes.
4419
Battle Rider with Axes.........$19.50
These metal monsters, approximately seven meters in
height, currently represent the climax of arms technology according to the
opinion of its builders, the Blacksmiths' Guild. Battle Riders are equipped
either with two oversized hammers or with two huge axes.
4420
Blunderbuss Unit.........$16.50
As the name already suggests, the blunderbuss is an
especially large and powerful variation of the arquebuse. The Thunderers' Guild
played a decisive role in its development.
4421
Bat with Flamethrower.........$8.00
The Bats are a product of the Craftsmen Guild, that like
the Battle Riders are looked upon by many Dwarves as "new fashion
junk". Equipped with a flamethrower the Bat flies over the battlefield in
order to shoot at the enemy from the air.
4422
Bat with Blunderbuss.........$8.00
The Bats are a product of the Craftsmen Guild, that like
the Battle Riders are looked upon by many Dwarves as "new fashion
junk". Equipped with a blunderbuss the Bat flies over the battlefield in
order to shoot at the enemy from the air.
4423
Bats with Ramming-Thorn.........$8.00
This is a Bat variation that has appeared only recently
on the battlefields. As opposed to other Bats, this model is equipped with a
ramming-thorn instead of a long-distance weapon and can consequently carry out
extremely effective, but very suicidal ram-attacks against Giants or Dragons.
4424
Bullet-Hailer.........$8.00
A bullet-hailer is a gun with a total of 15 gun-barrels
that has three racks of five barrels rotating around a horizontal axis. The crew
tries to push the wheel mounted construction towards the opponent as quickly as
possible and fire when within range.
4425 Hell-Spitter.........$9.50
The hell-spitter is a construction similar to the
bullet-hailer, however because of its "all around-effect" it is a
weapon that is more suitable for defense in special (or especially desperate)
situations than for attack.
4426
Dwarf Decals.........$12.00
This pack contains over 570 decals for the decoration of
shields and banners.
4427 eroes

Argam Rustbeard, Bradon the Axe, Dungal Smasher and Barin Sow-Rider.
