Gearing Class Destroyer
USS Gearing DD710

$119.95

The Gearing class of destroyers were the final WWII Destroyers  developed for the U.S. Navy during the 1940s. This class replaced previous destroyer types because of size, increased range and firepower.

The Blue Water Navy kit captures the essence of this class. The kit measures 13.25 inches long. A multimedia kit comprised of a single resin upper hull, a single piece lower hull (allowing the modeler to build a full hull or water line model), resin stacks, turrets and platforms. Small parts are cast in fine pewter for extra strength. A photo-etched brass sheet completes the kit with over 70 parts. Complete instructions and painting suggestions are included.
