Known as the LA or 688 class, the Dallas was the 13th submarine built in this class. The Dallas was the submarine featured in the Tom Clancy novel "The Hunt for Red October".
The Blue Water Navy kit makes a great starter kit for those
new to resin ship models. The hull measures 12 1/4 inches long. The kit has a
photo-etched sheet that contains the safety rails and propeller. Metal
castings make up
the dive planes. This kit can be built in a matter of hours.
